University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a HR Business Partner/Officer, HRBP Team

The HR Business Partner (HRBP)/Officer, HRBP Team will be assigned to a number of Faculties/Schools/Departments to work closely with their leadership teams providing ongoing HR support, targeted information, guidance and solutions, leading talent acquisition, facilitating talent management and building people capability, to effectively support the operation of Faculties/Schools/Departments and achieve their shared organizational objectives.

The HRBP/Officer, HRBP Team is expected to establish credibility as a trusted advisor, building and maintaining influential relationships with Faculties/Schools/Departments, as well as to create an interactive bridge to better transfer the feedback and requirements of Faculties/Schools/Departments to internal HR teams.

Your Responsibility

You will be expected:

  • Be assigned to a number of Faculties/Schools/Departments to work closely with their leadership teams providing ongoing HR support, targeted information, guidance and solutions, leading talent acquisition, facilitating talent management and building people capability, to effectively support the operation of Faculties/Schools/Departments and achieve their shared organizational objectives.
  • Establish credibility as a trusted advisor, building and maintaining influential relationships with Faculties/Schools/Departments, as well as to create an interactive bridge to better transfer the feedback and requirements of Faculties/Schools/Departments to internal HR teams.
  • Work with leadership teams in the assigned business units to address organizational capability gaps through organization design and development. Identify and understand the need for change in business units and develop strategies in conjunction with their leadership team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Assist the Director of HR in driving, developing and implementing HR strategy, plans and projects.
  • Support business unit talent acquisition strategy, recruitment plans and Chinese Talent Scheme applications.
  • Take HR responsibility for the full cycle of recruitment process and talent pool management.
  • Act as the first contact point for HR general enquiries from managers and employees in the assigned areas. Escalate special cases to HR Operations Team and Development & Engagement Team.
  • Generate all necessary reports and statistics for management use internally and externally in an accurate and timely manner, analysing trends and metrics.

About You

  • You should have Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, Marketing, Communication, English or other related discipline; Master Degree or Oversea study experience is preferred;
  • You should have generalist HR experience;
  • You should have management skills and highly skilled in collaboration and coordination – knows how to leverage people resource and how to build, lead, manage and motive a multi-functional team;
  • You should have excellent communication and responsive skills – verbal, written and presentation in English;
  • Experience of working in international companies, especially professional services/ educational organizations or sino-foreign joint ventures/ international universities are highly desired.
