University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a HR Data and Systems Manager
The primary objective of HR Data and Systems Manager is to oversee, maintain and optimize HR systems and data infrastructure, ensuring HR technology supports business objectives and delivers accurate, timely, and insightful data for decision-making.
The role holder will lead the implementation, integration, and continuous improvement of HR systems and other HR technologies to deliver high-quality and effective HR operations. The role holder is responsible for ensuring HR data integrity, security, accuracy, and compliance with relevant legislation, deriving insights through data analysis for strategic people decisions, and developing and optimizing relevant HR policies and processes.
Your Responsibility
- Ensure the integrity, consistency, accuracy, and confidentiality of all HR data across different systems and platforms, monitor data to identify anomalies, outliers, and quality issues, and take corrective actions as necessary;
- Maintain data compliance with relevant legislation, and support HR data requirements for regulatory reporting, audits, and compliance purposes;
- Use data analysis techniques to identify trends, patterns, correlations, and insights related to HR metrics and key performance indicators;
- Own the administration and optimization of HR Management Systems and platforms;
- Lead the implementation of new HR technologies and upgrades to existing systems and platforms;
- Engage with stakeholders and ensure system/platform functionality aligns with business needs and user experience expectations;
- Serve as the primary point of contact for HR Management Systems and Platforms;
- Lead and manage HR systems, platforms, and data projects, including scoping, planning, implementation, and evaluation;
- Collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of HR technology initiatives.
About You
- You should have Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, or related field;
- You should have minimum 2 years’ experience in managing HR systems and data analytics;
- You should have strong understanding of HR systems architecture and data flows;
- You should have advanced analytical and data visualization skills (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau);
- You should have excellent report writing and communication skills in Chinese & English;
- You should have knowledge of HR systems, platforms and analytical tools (e.g. PeopleSoft, SPSS, Tableau or similar);
- You should have knowledge of the principles and practices of human resource management;
- You should have project management experience.
