University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a Regional Gaokao Recruitment Manager

Your Responsibilities

The Regional Gaokao Recruitment Manager is responsible for leading the planning and delivery of student recruitment activities across assigned regions, in alignment with UNNC’s overall recruitment strategy. The role focuses on building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including high schools and educational partners, while driving initiatives to attract and convert Gaokao candidates. The role will also support the design, execution, and evaluation of innovative outreach programmes to meet recruitment targets.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Take overall responsibility for the planning, coordination, and delivery of recruitment events such as high school visits, education fairs, open days, information sessions, etc.
  • Ensure all activities are aligned with regional strategies, tailored to local contexts, and executed with high standards of professionalism.
  • Monitor event performance, gather feedback from participants and team members, and implement improvements to enhance the impact and effectiveness of outreach.
  • Identify high-potential schools and outreach channels to drive student interest and conversions.
  • Continuously review and enhance operational workflows, making process improvements to increase efficiency, responsiveness, and service quality across recruitment activities.
  • Maintain and leverage updated databases of key high school contacts, educational partners, and to support relationship management and targeted engagement.
  • Act as a key liaison between the recruitment team and internal stakeholders, to ensure integrated planning and messaging.

About You

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline;
  • At least 2 years of experience in student recruitment within the Higher Education Sector;
  • Excellent knowledge of the national education system and Gaokao recruitment;
  • Excellent understanding of recruitment data and the recruitment channel and how data can be used to optimise recruitment outcomes;
  • Excellent project planning, management and organisational skills;
  • Strong verbal and written presentation, communication and interpersonal skills in both Chinese and English;
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving capability.
