University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a Digital Marketing Assistant

Your Responsibilities

You will be part of the Branding and Digital Marketing team, which sits within the Communications and Marketing Office. The team is responsible for shaping and delivering the University’s brand strategy, managing international and domestic marketing campaigns, and supporting key initiatives such as student recruitment.

This position plays a role to implement and execute the digital marketing issues within UNNC, to support social media, SEO/SEM and other digital channels meet the UNNC long-term initiatives and market trends. This position will also be responsible for supporting digital marketing approaches like live-streaming and video-recording. This role will also support the University-level branding activities, to enhance brand influence and reputation.

This role reports to the Branding and Digital Marketing Senior Manager. The purpose of the role is to ensure that the digital contents and digital campaigns meeting the market trends and UNNC brand image, from the execution perspectives, to maintain the quality and innovation of digital contents and campaigns.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Support to identify and evaluate targeting audiences;
  • Identify trends and insights, support to develop and maintain digital marketing plan with a strong focus on social media channels;
  • Execute digital campaigns and digital marketing initiatives to grow brand love and support domestic and international student recruitment;
  • Communicate with social media & contents team and external vendors, to create, design, and build creative and contents, based on the message we delivered to audiences, optimize both the performance and customer experiences;
  • Support the live streaming, video recording and simple video editing to meet marketing requirements at university level;
  • Provide essential support to the brand marketing related activities, work with the team and vendors to deliver the brand marketing outcomes (brand photo taking, corporate branding assets design, etc.).

About You

Essential

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent International degree in Marketing, Business, Commerce or Communication;
  • 2+ years' experience in digital marketing;
  • Fluency in both verbal and written English and Chinese;
  • Be knowledgeable of Chinese social media (Weibo, WeChat, Douyin, KOLs, etc.) and digital marketing tools available;
  • Simple video recording and editing skills;
  • Good communication and presentation skills, be teamwork oriented, cheerful and talkative.

Desirable

  • Master's degree;
  • Knowledge of international media (Google, YouTube, etc.);
  • Marketing experience in Education, FMCG, or Hotel;
  • Experience in managing businesses across more than one geography;
  • Experience and knowledge of Greater China are desirable and a strong advantage.
