University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Business Partner – Assistant for NUBS China (FOB)

Your Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to integrate and execute the issues on marketing and communications of faculties and departments, from the perspectives of central Marketing and Communication (MarComm) team, aligning with the initiatives of UNNC. This role reports to the Marketing and Communications Business Partner (BP) – Senior Manager for FOB.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Business Partnership: Support maintaining partnerships and relationships with faculties and departments, deeply understand the business goals and strategy of each faculty and department, communicate business needs and implement into execution;
  • Strategy & Planning: Support Business Partner – Senior Manager to create, lead and deliver a Marketing plan for faculties and departments that aligns with UNNC initiatives and the corporate branding and marketing strategy;
  • Project Execution: Work with the broader team (corporate branding and digital marketing, digital contents& social media, PR & news) to execute end-to-end campaigns across multiple marketing channels targeting various segments by account, industry & the broader market for awareness;
  • Communications: Develop and execute effective and targeted communication plans including writing, proofing and editorial of collateral and thought leadership copy; development of relevant assets including videos, social posts and blogs by working with the wider MarComm team or external vendors;
  • Student Recruitment Enablement: Support Business Partner – Senior Manager input into the student recruitment outreaching issues, interpret and integrate the business needs of faculties and departments to recruitment team;

About You

Essential

  • Professionally qualified/relevant degree in Marketing, Adverting, Public Relations, Journalism;
  • 2+ years of experience in communications and marketing ideally within a professional services environment;
  • Native Mandarin, excellent written and spoken English. Other language skills are a plus;
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Proven negotiation and influencing skills;
  • Tact, diplomacy and confidentiality;
  • Excellent planning and organising skills;
  • Sound understanding of the relevant professional, legal and regulatory requirements of marketing and communications.  

Desirable

  • Experience with issues management highly desired.
