The School of Education and English is now seeking exceptional scholars to join us as Professors / Associate Professors / Assistant Professors in Education.

About the School/Department

This is an exciting opportunity to join the School of Education and English at UNNC where schools in UK and Malaysia are brought together, providing the opportunities, the expertise and the skills for our academics to work together on programmes and projects involving Applied Linguistics, International Higher Education, Translation and Interpreting, Cognitive Neuroscience, Literature and Drama, and many other fields. The School of Education and English provides various opportunities for research activities, which is further enhanced by the state-or-art laboratories and academics who are highly influential in their respective fields. The diverse and inclusive environment enable pioneering research in areas of Psycholinguistics, Intercultural Communication, Multilingualism, Educational Leadership Language Education (TESOL), Translation and Interpreting, and Higher Education. About You

The School of Education and English (EDEN) is looking for ambitious, talented, and experienced academics with a passion for teaching and a developed research agenda to join its team of scholars in the field of education. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to supervision, teaching, and curriculum development for the MA International Education and MA TESOL postgraduate taught programs, as well as teaching modules in the Doctor of Education (EdD) programme and providing supervision for EdD and PhD students. Moreover, successful candidates will play a lead role in collaborative research projects and conduct ongoing original research and publications in the relevant areas of education.

Candidates must have a PhD degree in education or related field, experience teaching EdD and Master modules, and experience supervising PhD, EdD, and Master students. Knowledge of international education, elementary education, and TESOL, and experience teaching undergraduate students are highly desirable. The position will be filled at the Professor, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor level based upon prior experience and current academic rank.
