University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit two Domestic Gaokao Recruitment Assistants

Your Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to provide full support to Gaokao Recruitment Team. The role will assist with delivering Gaokao recruitment activities to support UNNC’s recruitment strategies and plans. The role will also assist in coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating recruitment activities and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the team.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and delivery of outreach events aimed at supporting Gaokao student recruitment, including high school visits, education fairs, open days, information days, and information sessions.
  • Handle logistics for outreach activities such as venue booking, travel arrangements, material preparation, and event promotion.
  • Respond to recruitment-related inquiries from students, parents and other business partners in a timely, accurate and professional manner.
  • Maintain and update databases of high school contacts and key outreach partners to support targeted engagement.
  • Compile post-event feedback and data to support analysis and continuous improvement of outreach efforts.
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to support recruitment activities and address operational needs effectively.

About You

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline;
  • Knowledge of the national education system and Gaokao recruitment;
  • Experience in providing administrative support;
  • Excellent project management and organisational skills, and ability to handle a multitasking workload in a fast-paced environment;
  • Strong verbal and written presentation, communication and interpersonal skills in both Chinese and English;
  • Problem-solving skills;
  • Both reactive and proactive in addressing student recruitment requirements.
