University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a Central Recruitment Enabling Assistant

Your Responsibilities

The role will provide a professional, accurate, proactive and responsive frontline advice service to prospective students and their influencers through enquiry responding. The role will be responsible for training and leading student ambassadors who are recruited to support student recruitment activities. The role will also assist in the coordination, monitoring, evaluation of the operational performance and contribute to the smooth day-to-day operation of the team.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Act as a first contact point for all initial incoming recruitment enquiries and deal with them promptly and highly effectively.
  • Refer prospective students and other enquirers to correct contacts, information and resources in line with the information sets, where appropriate.
  • Train and manage a team of Student Ambassadors, qualifying them to represent the University to prospective students and their influencers in various recruitment campaigns.
  • Operate and manage social media platforms for recruitment, regularly updating content and engaging with prospective students.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the recruitment team to resolve and respond to recruitment enquiries within pre-defined operational limits.
  • Maintain information and tracking data for all general enquiries.

About You

  • A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline;
  • Experience in working within the higher education context;
  • Knowledge of national education system and Gaokao recruitment;
  • Good knowledge and understanding of relevant administrative and business processes, systems of work;
  • Experience in supporting, planning, coordinating, and delivering events;
  • Experience in operating social media platforms;
  • Ability to use knowledge bases and templates as a framework for responding to enquiries from a very broad range of customers;
  • Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to handle a multitasking workload in a fast-paced environment;
  • Problem-solving skills.
