University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit a International Recruitment Manager
Your Responsibilities
The International Recruitment Manager will play a key role to build and maintain effective relationships with key partners (e.g. universities and colleges, educational agencies and etc.) to sustain the target of student intake. The role will hold primary operational responsibility for recruitment plan implementation in accordance with UNNC’s recruitment strategy, including exploring opportunities for partnership, designing and evaluating programme of outreach, liaise and maintain relationships with agencies and other activities to achieve recruitment goals.
Your key responsibilities include:
- Plan and design comprehensive and innovative programme of recruitment activity with schools, colleges and other relevant organisations, to attract and convert international and applicants to successful leads;
- Implement recruitment plan in accordance with UNNC’s strategic goals and recruitment strategy;
- Develop a schedule of recruitment activities ahead of the initiation of a new recruitment cycle;
- Have a detailed understanding of the Faculty’s academic portfolio, entry requirements and pre-requisites;
- Execute and/or attend lead generation activity through a range of channels, e.g. international student recruitment fairs, offer holders events, and etc.
- Operate and manage recruitment specific communication and interaction tools (e.g. WhatsApp, iMessage etc.) and ensure correct and useful information is delivered in a timely manner.
- Develop, oversee and manage agency partners by providing training, support and expertise to maximise their potential in contributing to student intake;
- Develop and maintain excellent working relationships with Strategic Planning Team, the Events Team, the Student Admission Team as well as colleagues from facultyies and other departments.
About You
Essential
- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline;
- At least 2 years’ experience in student recruitment within the Higher Education Sector;
- Excellent knowledge of higher education in an international and context;
- Excellent understanding of recruitment data and the recruitment channel and how data can be used to optimise recruitment outcomes;
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills in English;
- Experience of using or implementing new technology (e.g. automation platform, CRM system) in a recruitment environment;
- Excellent project planning, management and organisational skills;
- Proven analytical and problem-solving capability;
- Proficient IT skills, use of Microsoft 365 Suites and social media platforms;
- Good understanding and awareness of international and recruitment related policy and regulation.
Desirable
- A Master’s degree in any discipline;
- Proven track record of achieving recruitment targeted headcounts to a budget;
- Experience in using innovative solutions to assist with student recruitment.
