University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking a dedicated and passionate Officer / Assistant to work for our Education and Student Experience (ESE) office.

This role will to support administration and implementation of programs and initiatives that enhance the educational experience and overall campus lifecycle of students, including academic progression, facility support, and event coordination etc. The role will assist with various operational, developmental, and evaluative tasks, ensuring that the office meets its goals and effectively mobilize resources to serves the student and academic population. At UNNC, you’ll be part of a dynamic team committed to enhancing the student journey and academic excellence. Your key responsibilities include: 

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of programs and initiatives aimed at enhancing student engagement and success;
  • Provide administrative assistance to the Office, including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting agendas, and taking minutes;
  • Manage and maintain documentation related to office programs, initiatives, and policies to ensure compliance and easy access to information;
  • Provide high-quality service and support to the workgroups, responding timely and professionally to inquiries and request for assistance;
  • Communicate and work closely with relevant departments and Faculties, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to ensure an appropriate flow of information and the smooth running of programmes and activities;
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders to enhance collaboration and ensure alignment with institutional goals regarding education and student engagement;
  • Draft and manage documentation such as proposals and reports, and present in a proper manner as requested;
  • Assist in the development, implementation, and review of governance frameworks related to education policies, ensuring alignment with institutional objectives and compliance with regulatory requirements.

About You

  • You should have a bachelor’s degree in related field such as education, business administration, etc;
  • You should have two years or more relevant work experience;
  • You should have experience in engaging with diverse stakeholders both internally and externally;
  • You should have ability to translate complex information into an accessible form for a range of audiences;
  • You should have fluency in Mandarin and English, both written and spoken.
