University of Nottingham Ningbo China is seeking to recruit an Officer/Assistant, HR Operations Team in Human Resources Office (fixed-term for 10 months)

Your Responsibility

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Administer and process payroll on a monthly basis with a highest degree of accuracy, including data check, salary & tax calculation, statutory deduction, adjustments etc.;
  • Collaborate with Finance Office to ensure accurate and timely payroll funding and reporting;
  • Reconcile payroll reports and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner;
  • Maintain accurate payroll records and audit trails in accordance with legal requirements;
  • Administer employee benefits including social insurances, housing fund, leave & OT, payable allowances, subsidies etc.;
  • Respond to employee queries on payroll, tax, and benefits in a professional and timely manner;
  • Provide guidance on pay-related policies and benefit entitlements;
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes by ensuring accurate setup and closure of payroll and benefits records;
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records in the HR Management System;
  • Ensure the secure handling of personal data in line with relevant data protection laws;

 

About You

  • You should have Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, Business, or other related discipline;
  • You should have Good command of both English and Chinese;
  • You should have relevant work experience or strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant employment/payroll legislation;
